Yakima police still searching for suspects who killed an AM-PM clerk
YAKIMA, Wash. — We spoke to several clerks around the Yakima area who said they have been on high alert and have been feeling nervous everyday they walk into work.
Kamaljit Singh a Sikh leader in the Yakima community knows several convenience store employees in the area and said lately safety has been their biggest worry.
“Working a late night, now it’s kind of concerning. Like hey the next guy is it me? You know what I mean,” said Kamaljit Singh.
Fear is especially after we obtained this exclusive video of what happened inside the am pm that night.
When Vikram Jaryal was killed-even after handing over the money to the robbers.
We spent the day talking with store clerks around the area who didn’t want to come on camera, they told me they are being more vigilant now when customers walk in the store, especially at night.
As for Singh he said..
“All the gas stations maybe they add another person to it,” said Kamaljit Singh.
A suggestion he thinks might be the solution
Police have no new leads at this point.
We do know Jaryal’s family was looking for help to take his body back to India, we have been in contact with his brother but we have yet to hear if his body is on its way back.
