YAKIMA, Wash. — Community members from near and far will converge on Historic N. Front Street for the Yakima Roots & Vines Festival on Saturday, June 21. This marks the return of this beloved event which hasn’t been held since before the pandemic in 2019.

There are two main draws for the Roots & Vines Festival: Craft beverages and live music! The concert portion of the event begins at 4 p.m. and will run into the night at 10 p.m. on Saturday, June 25. A community favorite, Dusty 45 is headlining a list of performers featuring Bart Budwig, Hardwood Heart and Lowest Pair. Each group has a different spin on the bluegrass and Americana genres.

On top of the music, a wide variety of locally-produced craft beverages and specialties foods will be available from Yakima Valley vendors. If you’re looking to cut loose, there will be wine, beer, moonshine, whiskey and bourbon being sold by vendors.

Ticket sales will benefit the Downtown Association of Yakima, which will use funds to help revitalize the downtown area and preserve its historical milestones. Profits are also going to be put toward future events held by the Association.

If you purchase your tickets online (https://downtownyakima.com/events/roots-and-vines/), it will cost $20. Tickets are also available at the gate for $25.

Please be advised that pets and children are not allowed as this event is only for people age 21+. Organizers will allow folding chairs only in specific areas.
