Yakima woman accused of raping 13-year-old boy

A Yakima woman is accused of having sex with a 13-year-old boy and trying to have his baby.

Jennifer Sandoval, 29, was arrested at her home in the 6500 block of Tieton Drive on Tuesday.

According to court documents, the boy told his mother he would be staying at a friend’s house on Friday.

When she went to pick him up, she was told he had not been there and reported him missing the next day.

The mother found her son’s email account on her cell home and began to look it them with her daughter. They found he had been communicating with Sandoval the last few days. After doing a Google search of the suspect’s name, they found her and reported her to police.

The 13-year-old admitted to having sex with Sandoval more than 12 times and that she had given him oral sex. He said when he tried to use a condom, the suspect threw it away and told him she wanted him to get her pregnant.

The day before her arrest, the young boy said his friend took care of the suspect’s children while they had sex in her bedroom.

Sandoval allegedly told the boy she loved him, and the boy said he believed he loved her. He gave her a ring for their one month anniversary, which the woman said she liked. She gave him several gifts in return, including a necklace and two rings, which the boy was wearing when detectives picked him up.

Sandoval was charged with child rape and molestation, both in the second degree.

She’s scheduled to be arraigned on Wednesday Aug. 2 at 9 a.m.
