Yakima woman dies after being ejected from vehicle in rollover crash

A Yakima woman died in a rollover crash on Highway 410 last night about 25 miles west of Naches on Wednesday night.

Cathleen Martin, 58, was traveling eastbound when she struck a guardrail, crossed into the westbound lanes and went into a ditch.

She was ejected from the vehicle and her 1987 Ford Econoline van caught fire during the crash.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Martin was not wearing a seatbelt. It is unknown whether drugs or alcohol were a factor.

Officers are investigating the cause of the crash.
