ZZ Top concert at Northern Quest canceled, citing drummer’s illness

Northern Quest Resort and Casino announced on Thursday that the ZZ Top concert scheduled for Saturday, August 17, has been canceled.

In a statement, Northern Quest said the cancelation is due to one of the band’s members being sick.

A statement from ZZ Top said the band’s drummer, Frank Beard, was diagnosed with pneumonia and told by a physician to rest.

For those who bought tickets, Northern Quest says full refunds will be automatically credited to the buyer’s account. Those who paid with cash can be refunded at Northern Quest and TicketsWest Box Office locations.
